PAT PUCKETT FINE ART

A lifelong lover of art, Pat Puckett turned painting into her primary focus just over a decade ago, leaving a successful career as an interior designer to pursue her passion. This leap led to a decade of artistic exploration and growth, including mentorships and workshops around the world. Today, her signature works—known for their vibrant color, rich textures and expressive light—grace private and corporate collections nationwide.

Growing up in a historic Lowcountry river town, Puckett’s memories of summers at the Waccamaw River, oyster roasts and beach gatherings heavily influence her work. She finds endless inspiration in the winding rivers, salt marshes and ancient oaks of the region, capturing fleeting moments in her signature style and combining the use of thick, layered oil paint with dynamic brushwork to create pieces that radiate light and movement.

Puckett’s dedication to plein air painting reflects her commitment to capturing nature’s essence in real time.

Puckett is an active member of the American Impressionist Society, Brookgreen Plein Air Guild, Mount Pleasant Artists Guild and Oil Painters of America. Her works will be featured in March of 2025 at Charleston’s Lowcountry Artists Gallery, showcasing her enduring love for art and nature.
